Our policies are provided here for the convenience of each client that visits us at LaLa Salon & Spa. You can also look over a list of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) as well. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask a team member.
Please try to arrive five minutes before your salon appointment to ensure that our team members are able to accommodate future appointments in a timely fashion. For spa appointments, please arrive 10-15 minutes early in order to fill out paperwork, get changed, and consult with your massage therapist.
We also offer an extensive free beverage menu and free WiFi during your visit. While you wait, feel free to take a look at our retail area or peruse through a magazine.
*Important* If you are late for your appointment we will try to accommodate you with the time remaining, but it is possible that your appointment may have to be rescheduled for a later date or time.
Our services and treatments are in high demand on weeknights, weekends and holidays. We recommend making reservations in advance by either calling (515) 965-4247 or using our convenient 24/7 Online Booking.
If there is any reason you’d like to have another team member, please let Jessica (Manager), Tyson (Owner), or Steven (Owner) know and they’ll be more than happy to take care of you.
CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW
There may be occasions when you’ll need to cancel an appointment that you have made. If that’s the case, please try to let us know within 24 hours so we can open up our books to other clients that need in to visit us. You can cancel your appointment by calling the salon, contacting us through the icon at the bottom right of your screen, or by signing into your online account if it’s greater than 24 hours before your appointment.
Not showing up for a scheduled appointment greatly inconveniences your service provider as well as other clients who may need an appointment. Multiple no-shows may require you to pay a deposit for future appointments.
We make every effort to keep pricing on the website and on our menus up to date. All pricing is a starting rate and may vary depending on the needs of the client or the experience of the technician. Pricing is subject to change.
We require payment at the time of your service. Feel free to use any of the following methods to pay for your service:
- Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club
- Cash or Check
- Mobile Pay (Apple, Samsung, Google)
- LaLa Salon & Spa Gift Card(s) *
Gratuities are not included in the price of the services and are solely at your discretion. Recommended and customary gratuity is between 15 and 20% of the full price of the service and can be paid directly to a provider or left at the front desk at the time of the checkout.
Our team is hand-selected for their customer service skills as well as the high quality of their technique. Each is also licensed and certified in accordance with all applicable state and city laws.
We provide services for children of all ages, but ask that you keep them supervised to minimize disruption to other clients visiting the salon and spa.
We have ample free parking in front of the salon and throughout the shopping center parking lot. Access is simple and wheel chair accessible.
We serve a variety of complimentary beverages. You can choose from:

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
If you are not satisfied with a product you purchased, please bring it back within 14 days of the original purchase date for an exchange, account credit, or refund.
If you are unsatisfied with your service for any reason, please let us know within seven business days of your appointment, and we will schedule you for a redo. If you’re still unhappy, please ask for the Manager or one of the Owners so they can arrange for a refund of the service price plus tax.
We sell gift cards at the salon or online. You may purchase a gift card for specific services or for any dollar amount. Gift cards can be used towards any product and/or service of the value purchased. There are no refunds on gift cards. Gift cards do not expire; however, LaLa Salon & Spa menu items/prices are subject to change, and a gift cards purchased for a specific service may need to be supplemented by a price increase.
To the extent possible, leave them at home. If you are concerned about a particular item, please keep it with you. Remember to check your robe pockets before you leave if you received any spa services. Please keep an eye on any belongings as we cannot be responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen items.
Please make sure you let us know if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, have diabetes, are allergic to aspirin or salicylates, or are using any medications. This will ensure we safely preform your requested services.
[SPA] WHAT TO WEAR
If you are receiving a massage or body treatment, you will be given a robe and spa slippers or sandals. You should undress to your level of comfort – many guests choose to undress completely and others choose to leave on their underwear. Either way, please keep in mind that you will be draped for privacy throughout your treatment.
[SPA] EXPECTED OF ME
Please keep in mind that your time at LaLa Salon & Spa is about YOU, and your technician wants to know if you are uncomfortable in any way. Communicate with your technician if you experience any pain or if you would like to adjust pressure or technique. Otherwise feel free to remain silent and drift off during your service – this will not offend your provider!
We have a standard unisex restroom available for use by all guests. At this time, we do not have any shower or steam facilities.
[SPA] NAIL SERVICES
At this time we only work on the natural nail (no dips, acrylics, etc.).
